What do you do with an apology...
When the eyes to the soul shine out with sorrow... Words that exploded like a bomb, shot pain into the heart... cut... We are asked to re-open the heart space, Re-open the door to the gate we so quickly constructed. The heart softens when the light can shine in. So she smiles... she cries... Weeping really, because it feels so much more natural to be vulnerable to pain... Than to close those doors... So the weeping brings a smile... sun... light... and understanding... and turns into LOVE A love remembered... And with love... all else falls away. And only then can we truly forgive...

Most of the time we sit and eat with no thought of how our food came to us. Where did it grow, who watered it, who packed it into the truck that drove it to your local store, who put it on the shelf, and who prepared it if it wasn't you....???? These questions are important and ask us to be present and full of conscious gratitude when we consume the food that nourishes our very cells and gives us the energy be alive! Here is a great mealtime prayer in Sanskrit to express feelings of gratefulness for the food we are about to benefit from:
Danaa detaa Paka karta Tahta bhogata Sukhi bhava I see
I seek Draw in with my seek... ing eyes Welling up with yearning Draining out with watery tears Expect, nothing from another Allow ALL to come from Self! Expand that into an ever expand... ing LIGHT! As YOU are LIGHT! |
